Subtitles
To add subtitles to your video, you need to have a .srt subtitle file for the subtitles that is time coded to your specific video. I won’t go into details on how to obtain that, you can google for such stuff if you don’t have .srt file.
Step 1:
Copy your subtitle file to the same folder where your video is in.
Step2:
Rename the .srt file to have the same file name as the video file, only with another extension.
Example:
Video file name: my_cool_video1.avi
Rename your subtitle file to be: my_cool_video1.srt
Step 3:
Open Media Converter
Drag’n drop (or otherwise add) your video file to the Media Converter
Step 4:
Select resolution options and click convert.
Step 5:
There is no step 5.
Problems?
If your subtitles have odd characters, you may need to change the subtitle encoding in media converter from UTF-8 to ANSI (or the other way around).
Still problems?
Convert your .srt file to be in utf-8 format with a suitable notepad program.
